HSE, quality and compliance management for highly complex projects

HSE

Safety, quality, environmental protection and the responsible management of the surrounding environment are cross-cutting conditions in the execution of OBS projects. Each project is developed on the basis of the applicable legal and contractual requirements, the client’s specifications, the approved procedures and the controls defined for each stage, promoting safe, reliable and technically consistent execution.
  • HSE planning integrated into execution.
  • Identification and management of operational and construction risks.
  • Quality assurance and quality control during fabrication, construction, installation, testing and handover.
  • Environmental management and responsible handling of resources and waste according to the scope.
  • Respectful engagement with communities, authorities and stakeholders.
  • Documentary traceability and technical close-out of projects.

Quality

OBS has voluntarily adopted the guidelines established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) for quality, environment and occupational safety, in order to establish solid, structured and documented processes that ensure compliance with ISO standards.

OBS has developed instructional programs and control mechanisms that ensure compliance with the technical specifications of the works executed, through inspections, tests and non-destructive testing, in order to identify deviations early and take the appropriate corrective measures.

Social Management

In compliance with its Social Responsibility Policy, OBS has identified the stakeholders in the regions where it operates and has built a harmonious, cordial, respectful and responsible relationship with them, based on compliance with the law and Human Rights, as well as the adoption of our clients’ policies and the customs of local communities.

Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and the Financing of the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction (ML/TF/FPWMD) are problems that grow stronger every day and affect the economy and society. Criminal organizations seek to use companies and businesses in the real sector to achieve their illicit purposes and attempt to justify assets derived from criminal activities. For this reason, OBS has adopted SAGRILAFT policies and procedures to ensure the prevention and control of the risk of money laundering, terrorist financing and the financing of the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. These have been developed in line with its ethical principles and good corporate practices, establishing guidelines based on the legal requirements in force and protecting the ORGANIZATION’s good name.
